Aline Scherrer

Fraunhofer Institute for Systems and Innovation Research (ISI)

Aline Scherrer is a researcher and prospective PhD student in the Competence Center Energy Technology and Energy Systems at the Fraunhofer Institute for Systems and Innovation Research (ISI) in Karlsruhe. Her work focusses on questions around the acceptance and legitimacy of transport and energy technologies, with a specific focus on electric mobility and synthetic fuels in both passenger and freight transport.
Her interest in the interface between technological innovations and sustainability transitions research translates into her PhD topic, in which she looks at the interaction between different (alternative) propulsion technologies and their legitimacy from an actor-perspective.
She is looking forward to support WG 4 and to explore the frontiers of SSH research with experienced researchers on transport and beyond.
