Iryna Lunevich is a junior researcher at the Laboratory of Critical Urbanism, European Humanities University (Vilnius, Lithuania). She has recenty been involved in the research project ‘‘Re-tooling Knowledge Infrastructures in a Post-Nuclear Town’ dedicated to the Ignalina Nuclear Power Plant (Lithuania) and its satellite town Visaginas. Her research focuses on media representations of the relationship between social and technological elements in (nuclear) energy systems. The research aims to suggest ways of reconnecting technological infrastructure of the Ignalina nuclear system with the social infrastructure of local community social values and relationships.
