Emily is an EPSRC-funded PhD Researcher at the University of Exeter, based in the Energy Policy Group, Department of Geography. Her research aims to identify priority areas where digital energy governance could be improved to facilitate energy system decarbonisation, while also supporting other ‘public impact’ goals as to mitigate negative socio-economic effects. Within Energy-SHIFTS Emily is supporting the SMART Consumption working group, through which she is keen to further explore her research interests regarding demand-side flexibility and digital technologies in the behind the meter space.
